Wireless Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU)
Rugged Design – Long Battery Life – Parallel Monitoring for Industrial Applications
YelTech/Broadsens Wireless IMU (inertial measurement unit) SAG200 is a heading reference system (AHRS) with a 9-axis attitude. Internally a wireless accelerometer, wireless gyroscope and wireless magnetometer provide pitch, yaw and roll angles, and transmit the results to the YelTech/Broadsens edge-computing gateway at the same time.
This wireless IMU SAG200 has the best battery efficiency in the industry with a total power consumption less than 5mA during 9-axis monitoring.
Every angle – multiple groups
The Euler angle is computed inside the Wireless IMU SAG200 sensor, and output 16-bit 3-axis acceleration, 3-axis angular rate, 3-axis compass, and pitch, yaw and roll angle in real time. This robust sensor can be used for both dynamic and static angle measurements. The user can adjust both the acceleration range and angular rate range to suit any application.
Parallel monitoring is possible using groups of multiple wireless IMU SAG200 sensors. For heavy and complex machinery, multiple points can be monitored at the same time. Moreover, the SAG200 senors can be assigned to different groups, and each group can take measurements with a timer for automatic monitoring. Multiple wireless IMU SAG200 can be controlled remotely from using cloud computing and the advanced remote function of the edge-computing gateway.
